Shelley’s passion for the environment began in Denver, Colorado, where she cultivated a strong foundation in science at Metropolitan State University. Her thirst for knowledge led her to the prestigious University of Colorado, where she not only obtained a Master’s in Environmental Science but also honed her skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with a dedicated Graduate Certificate.

Shelley’s experience extends beyond the classroom. She has a proven track record of success, having served as a staff environmental consultant and independently providing technical, graphical, and GIS services to diverse clients. Her work spans domestic and international projects, showcasing her adaptability and global perspective.

20+ Years of Experience

Jeff Cerjan has been a consultant for the past 20+ years. Jeff got his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Kansas in 1994. From there, he worked for Beech / Raytheon Aircraft starting in design, but quickly moving to the Structural Dynamics and Acoustics Group until leaving the company to start an Acoustics Group for Nordam, an aircraft interiors supplier. After this, Mr. Cerjan became a full-time consultant working for Hankard Environmental Inc. for about 20 years and has also worked with Michael Theriault Acoustics during this time. He has conducted hundreds of noise studies and noise modeling projects throughout his career as well as provided presentations and testimony on behalf of his projects.
